FUTO(federal university of technology owerri), election not a free and fair one

It has become obviously inevitable to see elections go wrong in Nigeria both from the federal even to households.
Yesterday in FUTO,the 2014/2015 SUG elections were held but until 10:00pm that night students were still seen outside the dean of students affairs office protesting the election they have not even seen the results.
When they were confronted it was discovered that the electronic voting system which the students have come to trust has failed to deliver a free and fair election.
Several polling booths have returned unbelievable and unrealistic results many of which were too obviously fraudulent that some die hard supporters of the affected candidates were seen crying.

One of them who requested to remain anonymous said " What burns my heart is that my course rep Comr. Onyema Jeremiah who was winning in other departments was said to have gotten 3 votes from our department,is that not the rigging of the century?"
Students have declared that all they want is for the election to be cancelled and for a more free, fair and credible election to be conducted.
This situation begs a question,if in a literate environment of a Federal University of Technology elections can be so clearly manipulated and nothing is said or done about it by the authorities, how then do we sit and believe the state and federal elections which we only hear the results on radio and TV.
We shall keep on deceiving ourselves with the believe that we will get better but it will always be an illusion.
Things have fallen apart,
The centre cannot hold
Mere anarchy is led upon the land.
