Alex Wins, Again

Maybe you’ve already heard way too much about it, but it’s been a long time since I’ve gotten this excited about an H&M collaboration with a designer (except for the fact that I did buy the entire Isabel Marant collection for H&M, ok, ok OK).

So, it’s super smart. I think the fact that they went for a very sporty collection instead of another version of his hits was a super idea. I was at the show, and the clothes are incredible – they’re real investments, there are lots of beautiful pieces, and a few parkas that will make the New York winter much nicer (can you tell how nervous I am about the polar vortex?)
And also, this super video, which couldn’t be more perfect for the science-fiction and martial arts fan in me (the next big big date in my calendar is the release of Interstellar, of course). This video is great and very well-produced. I saw it premiere at the launch party and I couldn’t wait to show it to you all. Besides, this is the music we were dancing to in the studio that day.
In short. Bravo Alex and H&M. Seriously. And you know I don’t say that often.
