“Living under a rock” doesn’t have the most positive connotations, but for the people of Setenil de las Bodegas (Spain) it’s all they’ve ever known.

 

This remarkable town of 3000 residents was founded upon a river gorge that eroded due to the Rio Trejo river.  It looks as if the rocks are crushing the homes and business with their massive size, but they are, in fact, built into the stone.
